How to Make Kratom Tea?

Have you purchased some kratom online and are looking to make yourself a nice cup of kratom tea but are uncertain how to make it? You’re in luck! Making kratom tea is quick and simple; it’s also a great way to consume your dosage while concealing the flavor, which can be potent and bitter.

This recipe can be enjoyed cool or hot without sacrificing any of the benefits of your kratom. Unlike some plants that contain psychoactive alkaloids, such as poppies, kratom’s alkaloids are temperature stable and unaffected by the boiling water. It can also be scaled to the strength of your required dosage.

Many people find the Red Bali strain to be most relaxing for a tea choice. On the other hand, if you’re using your kratom to get energized, a cup of tea brewed with Maeng Da kratom can produce that stimulating punch you might be looking for.

To prepare your tea, bring water to a soft, rolling boil in a standard kettle. You’ll need about a cup and a half of water minimum. Add a slice of lemon or lime to the water. The acidity will help protect the kratom’s alkaloids.

Add your pre-measured dosage directly to the boiling water and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Check the color of your tea periodically. You’re looking for it to turn a deep orange or yellow color before you remove it from the heat.

Hold a strainer over your mug and pour the liquid through it to catch the steeped kratom remnants. From here, you can discard the steeped kratom or save it for a weaker brew later on.

Flavor the tea to your liking with honey, sugar, cinnamon or stevia. If it’s a hot day, pour it over ice and enjoy.
